Mid Michigan | My friends were just telling me the other night their system that cost $20,000 dollars two years ago has been really struggling this year in michigan to keep up. Has been brutally cold for about two straight months and the electric strip in the backup started coming on. Their electric bill was almost $500 this month and $400 last month. They're not at all impressed with geothermal so far. They said it would be good if your temps never got much below 20 but not the case here this year. | |
