the resale of a stick built home is considerable higher then modular home (modular homes would be more like the mobile home/double wide, used in parks, of years back).
you are describing a manufactured home and not a modular home. modular homes are stick built homes is a factory setting.
manufactured homes are your typical single/double wide homes. the problem arises when a dealer calls everything a
modular when in fact they are not. for appraisal purposes modular and stick built homes are considered equal and no
adjusted is made for the type of construction.
