NE IL | Our Great Lakes corn (same genetics as Agri Gold) had very low test weight this year. 47-52# over 3 different varieties. Have been planting it for 5 or 6 years and have never had it weigh that little. Our other brands were all higher test weight. I know test weight doesn't necessarily affect yield but I think it should have been higher test weight. Something must have happened to it this year. I was disappointed in the overall yield and didn't order as much for this year. | |
