A blessing it is for this state. Our deepest well is a shade over 160ft and will pump in excess of 1500 gpm with 12ft of draw down. Pivot is nozzled for way less than that to manage infiltration on rolling ground. Most of our wells are 80 - 100ft and pump 600 - 1200 gpm.

I worked out of Dalhart for a couple weeks about 15 years ago and I couldn't believe how different the water situation was there compared to what I was used to and the lengths people went to pumping that water. I can't imagine the changes that have happened since then.
