Northeast Nebraska		I disagree. In my experience it is a good source of K. The most recent broiler analysis was per ton:

organic N: 47.1 lbs
P2O5: 59.1 lbs
K2O: 64.6 lbs
S: 14.9 lbs
Zn: 0.8 lbs
Ca: 41.2 lbs
Fe: 0.8 lbs
Mn: 0.9 lbs
Mg: 12.0 lbs
Cu: 0.4 lbs

Note: note not all is available the first year
