Ohio | We've never used chicken litter...but interested based on AgTalk comments. Our Farm is in north central Indiana (near South Bend).
How bad is the smell? I don't want to (unnecessarily) upset our non-farm neighbors.
When should I spread it? (fall, winter spring or does it not matter)
Does it require tillage to be most effective? (we are near 100% no-till)
Who sells it? Do I need to find a farmer raising Chickens or should I go through one of these brokers?
Will some sellers apply it? We used to have dairy cows; I'm no stranger to manure. But I don't have the setup
