One side says the Internet should remain free of govt regulation, leave it alone. However, big business with carve it up and take it over and, for example, you won't be able to access WallStreet Journal unless you are on Comcast, but you can't access Google unless you are on ATT. You can get Amazon videos at full speed, but you can't access other places but at dial up speeds....

The other side says the govt will mandate the Internet stays a level playing field open to all. Provide service, then provide an open service to all. But of course, as the govt gets involved things no longer are free, and become regulated and taxed and ol legalized and public service mandated....

So either way, the fun and freedom of Internet is over. It will take a few years, enjoy it until they decide if big business or big govt controls your access.
