I think corn acres will be higher than people think. I think there is a lot of acres that are undecided right now and I think a good many of those may go to corn. Any type of incentive based specialty crop that looked profitable probably has the acres contracted that are needed (sunflowers, barley, etc.) We have more blue sky for both yield and price for corn in my opinion, in my area anyway. Inputs are still high for corn but if we get a decent spring I think guys still like corn over soybeans. I know the economics are different in many areas than they are in my back yard. I'm not sure we go over 91 million acres but we planted over 89 last year when corn acres were competing against beans over $12 most of the spring
