CFDR, I agree, the best way to find out if ones own opinion or bias is viable is to explain it to someone else, I usually realize the holes and inconsistencies in my own ideas as soon as I try, meanwhile it all made sense to me before I tried. My kids prove this to me everyday, and they are only 7 and 8. As soon as I think I know how something works, or why something is, they ask me to explain,and I realize how little I know. |
