South Dakota | My wife and I are looking at purchasing a rural farm. It would be our primary residence. It's listed for sale with 67 acres of low lying pasture land. The remainder of the tract is 13 acres of farm land immediately west of the house which the owner would like to retain and is surrounded on 3 sides by the pasture. I don't think he has any intention to develop the property as he is 90 years old and it is 30 miles from a regional center but is located within a couple of miles of a state highway.
MY question is would this be a deal breaker for you?
What would be the best way to go about financing the property as the land value potentially surpasses the house value. | |
