It has split open between the boards along the long side.  The flooring has shrunk well over a 1/4 inch to almost a half inch.  It was acclimated to the house for over 1 month.  I don't like the hollow feeling of the floor, but, that is what I'm told you get with floating???  It doesn't make creaking sounds like I've heard some floors make.  I'm not sure about the heated floor issue, I didn't look into that option.  It just appears that this floor is more porous than it should be and it shrinks and swells too much....
