I went with Straight Talk Home Phone a couple of years ago. It's just a cell phone receiver that you connect a regular phone to. Have had very few problems with it. I keep a landline for my mother to call and her life line calls it in case she needs help. Seems like the device was about $80 and the monthly fee is $15 plus tax which makes it about $16. It has local and nationwide calling with caller ID. Sure beats paying my old $40 phone bill. The only draw back is my number is no longer published in the local directory and I'm not sure if that is a drawback. |
