Subject: RE:For a little snapshot of the US-Canada Trade look at this.

Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow
https://ustr.gov/countries-regions/americas/canada. Of the $330 billion in Canadian imports $110 billion was oil and gas, which just got a whole lot cheaper but is being sold into an apparently saturated market so it might get cheaper yet. Meanwhile, those things that Canadians really need to import from the US just got 30% more expensive. True Canadian agricultural products just became a good buy here but how much more wheat do we need. As for beef, Old MacDonald will make out really well but beef in Canadian stores will get 30% more expensive and scarce.
And as far as Canadian equipment, if new equipment just cost 30% more and good used Canadian equipment is worth 30% more to Americans how long before equipment costs in Canada become unaffordable. It could be a short term boost but a mixed blessing eventually.
