I just replaced my 8 year old booster with this one http://www.amazon.com/Winegard-LNA-200-Boost-Digital-Preamplifier/d... This greatly improved my reception. Placement is important- follow the instructions.
I would try that first. If that doesn't help, you'll probably need to replace the antenna. If you do, get one that you can use you new booster on.
