Wolcottville,Indiana | doubt if you can lug a DEf engine down to a 3406 A cat. can run a 1000 rpm on my old truck and the new DEF engines can only go around 1800 rpms. At the farm show cat and mf said they could lug at 1600. That's why the IVT transmissions are offered a electric motor could run a tractor then, as the load pulls the tractor down the transmission moves the ground speed down. Just another sick gov. deal.
