Subject: Desktop motherboard swap...

Warburg, AB
I have 2 PC desktops that I want to frankenstein together. The one I'm operating on has all my data and the OS on the HD and SSD's. I want to swap out this motherboard, CPU, and RAM as a complete deal and replace it with the same from my other desktop, but I want to keep my OS and everything intact. Is it as simple as swap them out and boot it up? I imagine I'd have to go into the BIOS to establish which SSD has the OS to boot from as the default? Or am I going to have to reinstall everything? Reason I'm trying to go this route is to buy some time before building a whole new desktop, hoping to do so within a year.
