Wayne I won't flame you too bad. It is unlikely the cows got it from the bottle calves because the animals need to ingest manure from an animal that is shedding the disease. It also has a 2 year incubation period so it would be almost impossible for the cows to get from the bottle calves. You are right that the sales barns are probably the culprit because of all the co-mingaling of many different farms animals into one location.


I've heard you could get it if you buy colostrum from a dairy. Is that not true too?
