north west arkansas | I have seen it several times over the years and you never now when it's gonnna strike. I might get flamed by the dairy guys and probably shouldn't say this but I think a lot of beef farms got it on there farm from buying Holstein bottle calves to put on a cow that has lost a calf. Best thing to do is if you see is put wheels under them as fast as you can. I wouldn't worry about it passing to your heifers. It's possible but I wouldn't worry about it. It's a very common disease atleast it is in this area. | |
