Beresford, SD | Dad said quality was awesome.....lots of heavier medium fleshed 600-800 pounders. Light, green calves getting scarce. Good crowd and a stronger market than SFRL on Monday or Menno yesterday, which is expected with the board action. He ended up getting me 27 head. 12 Hereford steers 580 @ 2.42 (I wish he could have got a load of them), 6 576 Hereford heifers @ 2.33, and 9 536 black/red heifers @ 2.425. Need about 125 more and I'm done buying. Really like the condition and quality of cattle today, but yesterday was definitely a little easier than today. Dad said they did not have to back them up much to get started like yesterday.
