It is easiest if they changed fields but if not, just snap around a field, copy it to a new layer, paste addition it, then rename it and put it into the correct field name. then copy the other part and redo it also, after you have it all done you can delete duplicated, but once deleted they are gone so make sure that is what you want.


Keep a copy of the original data stashed somewhere. That way if you somehow tank your data you can make another copy of the original and start over again.

I've taken multiple fields from a customer and merged them all into one big field to standardize the yield mapping and give one big farm report. You're also able to take chunks of a field and make it into a new field, and re-name and move information around. I was using the full version though, not view. I'm not entirely sure what capabilities you do and don't have with the free software.

Lots of videos on the farmworks site for specific how-tos though. I've spent more than a little time there learning the nuances of the software.
