My cows are trained to it, but in an area like that I'd be temped to put up atleast one strand of high tensile. That way a deer or something isnt going to take it down and drag it off. Space your posts wide and not too deep and then it's not too hard to gather it back up some day if you want to take it down.

We call it a wire spin jenny around here, the thing you use to lay out wire, can be used to gather it back up too with a little time and work. I have a lot of 1 strand high tensile and my cows never bother it,
