A good friend of mine had multiple esn vs fall anhydrous and nserve checks, weighed full field strips in multiple fields, and esn lost them all. For what it costs, I wouldn't use the stuff. I like your plan, some nh3 down, some sidedress. In your odd shaped field, I'd hit it with late urea like you have if you're worried about it. On fields like that we have, I like to put a FULL rate of nh3 down in the fall on the ends, then just have the field to sidedress.
Our standard plan is 1/3 down as uan, 2/3 sidedress nh3. It's not perfect, but works the best logistically for us. | |
