Subject: Crop Rotations NW/NC OK

Plains of NW OK
For the first time we no-tilled all our wheat on our sandy loam ground. It seems like a no brainier to save moisture and eliminate wind erosion. So far we have stuck with conventional tillage on the good silt loams. I know that to be successful with the no till you have to use crop rotations. What can I use that will be successful? We are located SW of Enid OK. I'd like to go wheat, DC soybeans, then early milo and back to wheat. Is this asking too much of loamy sand and decent sandy loam ground? On the good silt loams we will most likely continue with wheat with occasional canola.
