Spring Grove MN | Sorry my post was not more clear. I will try again. I don't disagree with your calling BS on the glyphos. I do call BS on the absolute need for GMO's. As for the poster above you. We have done our trials "here". GMO's are not a yield or profit winner for us. It is all in how you manage things. If you ask a rep to answer if GMO adds yield, the truthful ones will tell you no. They do not add one bushel, in fact you have been almost guaranteed a reduced yield or increased moisture from adding traits. They do allow more yield when you have disease or bug pressure and you are not managing them in other ways. (one area they could be claimed to help is severe insect pressure where it takes both traits and insecticide). As I said, GMO's are like the easy button. Glyphos is a whole different subject.
I am not totally against GMO's or glyphos. They each have a place in AG if managed properly. Most farmers have not done that, mostly because we were not educated how to do that until it was too late.
