The fine print for the last 20 years is something else, we won't need garage sales any more, we don't own anything.
I was bored last winter and read the licence agreement for my GPS mapper. Wow, it was 26 pages, included 3 sub licenses from other companies. An amazing work of legalese. And that was just a car GPS.
When you 'click here to agree' has anyone at least run the scroll bar up and down to see what it is you are agreeing to? Volumes of work.
My 'My Cloud' hard drive that allows me to store stuff on my hard drive through the Internet just updated the apps for it a month ago, with a new contract. Much more favorable to them now. Just using the new app, and I agree that I can't join a class action law suit against them, for one small detail.
Govt could help keep these things in check, but they have other things to worry about.
