Later edit: I went to an email and copied a sentence. Next I created a new email and typed in some things. I then pressed and held and was given the opportunity to paste the sentence. The sentence was appeared as it had in the email. This could be real handy if I remember it.
Seems to work somewhat like highlighting in a word processor and then using Control-C to put a copy of the highlighted text on a clipboard. You can then go elsewhere such as a new document and paste the contents in by using Control-V.
