. Doesnt there have to be some kind of a moral compass or a voice in your head that says hey, this is wrong?

Yeah it's there in our heads for actually almost all sin yet every one of us ignores it from time to time. No doubt if it was my kid molested id be seeing red but at the same time you have to realize sin shows no favors, the wages of sin is death and it's appearant here in this guys life that giving into temptation a bit at a time puts you in a senario nobody wants. A reminder that "giving the devil a foothold" is a dangerous thing to do no matter how little the sin can seem it has the potential to grow into a monster...

Remember that if this guy is guilty he needs Christ the same as me and you. Everyone falls. It's the response to the fall that is important.

Not everyone will see this way, but because of the earthly consequences of this sin it's going to be dealt with. A discreet sin such as pornography or pride, envy or greed... because they are not looked down upon by society can go on unchecked and unlitmately keep a person from having a relationship with Christ...

I would encourage you to try to be a friend (or even just a contact) yet, you might be his only one. And try to encourage him in the right direction. No doubt he knows his direction was wrong.

Some people change.
