NW Washington | I think a tub/shower is a good place for old folks to fall down and break some bones. A handicap shower that you could roll into with a wheel chair would be best, and a walk in next. One thing I don't like about a walk in shower is that it is hard to get the water temperature set before you get in the shower, but a temperature controlling valve would fix that. At any rate install a lot of hand holds that can be used while using the bathroom facilities. Falls kill a lot of old folks every year. | |
