I checked out the links and will bookmark them for future reference. One of my goals for picture editing is to add "notes" to pictures for future reference. This is akin to writing a note on the back of actual printed photographs.
I was able to find and use the rounded rectangle shape. I then type text within the rectangle.
Getpaint seems to be a good (and free) fit for my uses. Below is an edited photo of the odometer on a local's Harley after their Alaskan Trip last summer. The rider was in his 80's.

Just for future reference, the name of the software is "Paint.NET" (pronounced "paint dot net"). www.getpaint.net is the URL of the official Paint.NET website. If you ask (somewhere else) for help with "Getpaint", you're likely to get a lot of blank stares. :-) Would be a lot easier if they named their URL "www.paintdotnet.net". |
