| I am using QuickBooks for a side business that I have and having trouble on figuring out how do I update my item price list from an Excel Spreadsheet provided by a vendor?
I have 5 different Vendors that I deal with, each having several 100 to 1000's of items. Vendor "C" just sent me a new pricelist (Excel Spreadsheet) containing updated prices for current items as well as some new items that are not currently not in my item list in QuickBooks. How do I update my QuickBooks items list with the updated prices and new items. All items contain a part number that can be matched up between my QuickBooks and the Excel spreadsheet provided by Vendor "C". I can do it manually by going to each item and changing the price, but that is going to take a long time with 1000's of items. Also the price change is not by an across the board percentage either, so some how I need to do a copy/paste/merge/update | |
