What an attitude. Personally, I remember the ravages of polio, the chicken pox, measles, whooping cough, and mumps. There are so many strains of the flu virus that yes, it is a crap shoot as to which one will be making the rounds is any given year. Prior to the vaccines, I well remember being laid up 2 or 3 weeks every winter with the flu. Started receiving the flu shots over 20 years ago and have only got the flu a couple of times. There has already been a number of deaths from the flu this year. The majority of them did not receive the flu shots.
