Western-Central Lower Michigan | Decent speed internet has a long way to go to to be available to most everyone in the country. Personally I think there is a market for wireless (not cellular) internet. We have two wireless companies here. Its a Rural county, much of the area is not serviced by CATV(with internet) and DSL runs out of gas a scant 3 miles from the telephone office.
Im sure the Government counts Cellular internet on their "census", but with caps and overage fees they are out of consideration for a lot of us.
I consider myself very lucky to have DSL and the ability to connect to a wireless company as a second choice. I also have CATV, but the area serviced with it does NOT have internet as an option. Because of that, a lot of the Cable customers have quit and went to DISH or Direct TV.
