This would be a pretty big step in the right direction in theory, we will have to see how it plays out. I would love to be able to have unmetered internet where I live but the trees and geography severely limit my options. Looking at the county map according to http://www.broadbandillinois.org/maps/ I have no broadband available.
Also noticed that Obama referred to the internet companies as monopolies... did I misinterpret his tone? Isn't that completely Illegal? News of AT&T trying to buy DirecTv was news to me as well. | |
