I find a new sweeper or other cleaning product does the trick also. My wife's birthday is the 10th, our second child was also born on the 10th, and she is scheduled this year to have a C section for our twins on the 11th. I can pretty much take the week off for the rest of my life because there will be no getting out of the parties etc.
