Mather, Manitoba | What my uncle did was cut down furnace filters and put them in the cold air return vents. You'd be surprised how dirty they get after six months. I adopted that theory at my place and along with my Irobot vaccum my place is virtually dust free. Forgot to mention, there is no carpet or pets in my house anymore. Makes big difference. Another culprit is the main furnace filter. It doesn't seal against the metal worth a crap in the slot. So I use duct tape and seal it good to prevent air/dust from bypassing around the filter. | |
