| Hi all.
I just picked up a sizable farm with several large ditches with CRP borders through it. There are also some fence and hedge rows. Part of the deal was that I would clean all the trees off the farm.
The trees are mostly hedge in clusters of 4 or 5 trunks 3-8" in diameter each branching out from one spot. Those are up in the CRP and fence rows. In the ditch channels there are some small trees that I'll just cut off and tordon.
Questions is what to do with the trees in the CRP. I doubt it will be farmed again any time soon. Can I just cut em close as possible to the ground and tordon or shold I cut them a few feet high? How hard is getting the stumps out? I have a 966 with a loader and small 3 pt backhoe.
