South East SD | Yep had surgurey on Friday the 12th and home Saturday evening. Got MRI results and I guess I had a nice meniscus tear, torn ACL, nice bone bruise and injury to tibial plateau (whatever that is). They didn't screw around getting it fixed. Saw a PA Tuesday, MRI Wednesday, met with doc Thursday morning and fixed it Friday afternoon. So been sitting with my leg in one of them motion machines since woke up from surgery. Doc wants me in it 20hrs a day for 7 straight days then 8hrs a day after that, so sick of it I could puke. The physical therapist said I could walk on it as soon as I felt like it but needed to wear a big leg brace for about six weeks. I had nightmares of going in for physical therapy every other day for months but they said if I would do my exercises no reason to just a checkup once a month for three months. It was my fist time going for surgery and only second night in hospital ever, kinda sucks but I guess it happens.
I think I've seen every Bonanza and Gunsmoke episode now.
