IF she isn't going to be around much longer you can just cut the tip maybe an inch at most, otherwise it needs to be as close to the head as possible without getting into the skull/hide, maybe 1/4" to the right of that hair.  I cut them straight with the horn.  Sawzall with good new blade will take a few seconds.
