| Been trying to decide how long to feed calves this year. In the past we usually sell around jan feb aroind 6 /7 weights. Weve got plenty of grain and hay available. Would I be crazy to consider feeding them to finish with these markets? Also im located in central missouri and dont hear of very many people finishing calves. Most go to around 9 then ship. I do have my own truck and pot though so could save some there. Have around 75 Steers and heifs on feed now. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks. | |
