All planters described are good planters...I would add JD 7240 and 1780's also. It depends on dealer support and familiarity, also what you plan on doing with it. CaseIH has the nicest row unit design, but a well tuned finger meter or vaccum meter will have better signulation than the CaseIH drum and air. The hoppers are nice on the CaseIH especially for beans. Are you going to notill or minimum till?
