Drilling into ROPS structures could affect warranty, resale and in the unlikely event somebody was hurt in a rollover or similar accident make you liable. Awhile back there was a thread about a challenger cab on auction and the reason it was listed was that somebody drilled a hole in the ROPS post voiding the warranty so it had to be replaced.
