South central Minnesota
replaced the fluted rollers with SI meters made a better drill out of it. If you do that make sure the seed size will work, too big of seed will not plant properly. The seed tubes have a tendency to sag causing seed to hang up, not very good spacing. One solution was to put bunge cord stretched inside the tubes to support them, ok but not perfect. Another solution was a telescoping hard tube, do a search of this site might come up with a discussion of just that for a fix. I no longer have one, storm damage ruined it. Thinking of going back to 15" rows , still haven't decided if it makes sense. Looking for a planter or build my own.
