I have been taking a can of tart cherry pie filling and covering the ham with it then putting it on the smoker until the ham is roughly 150* internal temperature. Good stuff, just make sure it is "tart" cherry pie filling. I am not a sweets kind of person but this puts an interesting and tasty spin on what would have been "plain ol ham".
