NW IL, Mercer County | Our farm is in the process of splitting up co-owned land between the 2 families involved. What I have done so far is enter each field, acres, and appraised value into excel. From there, I was wondering if there was a way to take that data, randomize it, and come up with a few possible scenarios as far as making the $ come out as close to equal as possible between the 2 parties? I know it wont probably be possible to come up with an exact 50/50 $ split.
