Subject: RE: $7 Turn-around..

South central kansas

Checked on down moves in feeder cattle and from strait financial commentary from  a couple of days ago concerning big moves in FC.

"Tuesday was the fourth consecutive limit down trade for the January feeders and some chart readers will be scrambling to put this break into historical perspective. Let's use the current leg down from a high two weeks ago and so far the feeders have fallen 17.50 cents in total and currently working on an expected fifth day of limit down tomorrow. Just back in June of 2012 there was a break in the August feeders of 15.90 cents followed by three days of rally and then another 18.60 cent selloff to complete the month long move. Adjusting for the 3-day bounce it was a loss of 26.60 cents...making the current selloff look relatively tame. Think back to the Mad Cow break and we see the same four straight limit down trading days but they included expanded limit sessions starting at 1.50 lower and getting to 5.00 cents down a day to create a four-day loss of $14.50 in those four trading days where the current four limit down sessions here total 12.00 cents. The current selloff so far is historically excessive, but by no means the worst the market has seen...yet."
