Vail, 08/09 was a rough ride for quite a few. Fall of '08 is when we put a whole bunch of 700+ urea on w/o sales covering the spread, and even $8 hrsw didn't work the next year..
Quadrack, I agree. I think farmers are less apt to move acres are I want to think they are, but for me right now, the marginal acre goes to hrsw. only have to move hrsw down 30 or 40 cents and that changes for me though. |
