| A good family friend told me in a passing convo a few days ago that they had a pellet stove(I do not know brand etc). BUT they could not leave the house with it burning. They had to completely put it out each time they left home.
That sounds like a huge pain to me. They said if the hopper runs dry or bridges etc. it fills the house with smoke,,,which cant be a good thing. is their a cure for this? Are they all the same in that regard?
I have NEVER run a pellet stove before,,,how long does the bin full of pellets last typically? I used to go a couple days on a wood burning stove and never had issues. Do corn stoves smoke up a house too? under same circumstances
