Dougherty, IA | Younger farmer here, work full time in town and rent some land on the side.
Have been saving money and looking to get into the land market over the next year or two. For a first purchase, where should I be for principal and interest payments per acre? I would like to be aggressive with buying land when I am young, especially if the market softens, but don't know when I should start.
Any advice from folks that have been through this?
