Subject: Why do some farms take so much lime?

Amherst WI
I just got some of my soil tests back and some of the same farms that need lime every time, need it again.

They are similar in soil type an OM and are farmed similar with the same rotations to what some of my other farms that don't take so much lime are but yet seem to really drop fast in pH. Why is that? With VRT lime $28-30 a ton here so it adds up pretty fast.
