| I took all the old galvanized pipe out of an old house. Never saw these cast iron pipe hangers before. They have a cast holder with screws to hold the 3/4 or 1/2" pipe. Then a pipe nipple prob 1/4 or 3/8" pipe usually 3 to 4" long, Other end(top end) has 2 or 3 holes thru another cast iron type flange threads on top of nipple,,, that screws up to floor joists to hang the pipe from.
They may have been painted light gray when made.
They are old,,,aprox age of house, (antique,,,dunno) collectable???? value in excess of scrap iron??
Would hate to throw them out to find they are wanted. | |
